Project Manager - Derbyshire (Hybrid Working, 2–3 Days Onsite)

We’re looking for a detail-driven, customer-focused Project Manager to join a growing engineering business delivering bespoke, high-value capital projects across the UK and internationally. This is a hybrid working opportunity based in Derbyshire and is ideal for someone confident managing multiple concurrent projects — from technical scoping and stakeholder engagement through to supplier coordination and final delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Manage multiple customer projects, each with unique technical and commercial requirements
2. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource schedules
3. Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers
4. Track project KPIs and budget performance, while managing risk and change effectively
5. Ensure the project team delivers against agreed milestones
6. Keep all parties updated with clear, professional communication
7. Travel to customer sites in the UK and internationally as required

What You’ll Bring:

1. Proven experience delivering multi-phase projects in an engineering or technical environment
2. Excellent organisational, planning, and stakeholder management skills
3. Strong communication – confident in presenting project updates internally and to customers
4. High attention to detail and accountability for project outcomes
5. Proficient with MS Project, Excel, CRM/ERP systems
6. Ideally holds a Project Management qualification (Prince2, APM, PMP, or equivalent)
