The National Trust is renowned for its food and hospitality. We run 185 cafes, tea-rooms, and restaurants all over England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, and we'd love you to join us.
We’re looking for a Food and Beverage Team Member. In this role, you’ll make a real difference to the work of the National Trust and help provide people with a memorable day out.

This is an hourly paid, fixed-term position. We aim to offer a consistent pattern, but flexibility may be required to meet business needs, with as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays, but no evenings or split shifts.
£12.25 per hour
Fixed Term Contract until 31st July 2026.

Your main focus will be front of house, welcoming and caring for visitors in the café. Your enthusiasm, positive attitude, and commitment to excellent service will ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience. Teamwork and adaptability are essential in this lively environment.
You’ll strive to understand visitors' needs, assist them, and make recommendations. Maintaining high standards in food and drink presentation, ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive, is key. You may also assist the kitchen team with food preparation at times.
We will provide you with an induction tailored to the role, training in allergens and food safety, and mentoring as needed. Further professional development opportunities are available if you wish.
