Job Description:

We are seeking a talented newly qualified team member to join our Private Tax team in London, responsible for delivering annual tax compliance and planning work for a diverse portfolio of Trust clients.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be part of the delivery team working on client compliance, planning, routine checks, and practice development. This role offers a great opportunity for a newly qualified tax professional to advance their career in a supportive environment.

Available locations include:

  • Cambridge
  • Guildford
  • Leeds / Harrogate
  • London
  • Newcastle
  • Salisbury

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality service to Trust clients
  • Managing portfolio administration, compliance, accounts, tax returns, and computations
  • Identifying planning opportunities
  • Preparing client reports
  • Responding to client inquiries regarding trust tax matters

Qualifications:

  • ACA/CTA/STEP or equivalent (preferred)

Skills and experience:

  • Experience in a professional services firm
  • Knowledge of personal tax compliance and exposure to planning/advisory work
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and staff
  • Ability to meet deadlines and respond to client needs
  • Experience supervising staff and supporting senior management
