Introduction to role:
Join our Oncology Business Unit as a Medical Affairs Lead. You will lead the medical input to business strategic and operational planning for our GI Oncology portfolio, including the development of the Medical Affairs plans; Lead delivery of clinical insight, customer focus and clinical governance into Medical and Business Unit objectives. You will also deliver Indication Brand objectives as outlined in Brand Medical Plans and develop and deliver pre-launch and peri-launch medical plans and activities.
Key Accountabilities:
In this role, you will develop and maintain scientific relationships with key customers, provide expert medical input into key Market Access activities, and coordinate the development and implementation of Advisory Boards. You will also provide strong matrix leadership to the Therapy Area Medical Team, create and maintain a team environment that supports innovation, and coach and support the TA medical team to drive excellence in skill and performance.
You will leverage medical insight from internal and external customers into local evidence generation plans to support value propositions for the UK; Provide the medical direction to all brand related activities; Support AZ OBU to ensure that all activities conducted are within the appropriate regulatory and compliance frameworks
