As a Senior Sous Chef, you’ll be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

  • Are dedicated to ensuring an excellent guest experience, with every dish prepared to exceptional standards through your efforts or by equipping your team with necessary skills and mindset.
  • Are experienced in maintaining spotless food, health, and safety standards, understanding financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, and proactively spotting opportunities.
  • Are focused on building a coaching culture within your team, collaborating with your head chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Are a forward-thinking problem solver, quick to think on your feet and make decisions.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, driving performance in fast-paced, complex environments.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of having considerate and caring conversations, ensuring your team feels supported.
  • Proven experience in maintaining high standards of food, health, and safety.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
  • Experience managing labor costs and adapting to changing demands.
  • Ability to inspire and engage your team, fostering growth and development.
  • Passion for creating an inclusive environment where your team feels respected and belongs.
  • A forward-thinking problem solver, quick to adapt and decide.
