Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) (On-site, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical work that supports the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

This role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attend to planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults
  • Use field IT equipment to provide real-time maintenance data
  • Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions
Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who are eager to learn and can multitask. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
