Job description

Introduction

Here at Qualiteach, we specialise in both long-term/ permanent recruitment! We are currently partnered with a School in Elland who are looking to add to their team - 2x Primary Teacher.

Responsibilities

  1. To deliver high quality teaching and learning to pupils within Year 1-Year 4.
  2. To inspire children with enthusiasm and a love of learning.
  3. Experience supporting children with SEMH needs.
  4. Experience delivering high quality lessons to children with behavioural needs.
  5. To have a sound knowledge of the requirements of the national curriculum.
  6. To prepare and plan for teaching, taking account of the requirements of all children within their class.
  7. To prepare and develop teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching and assessment, and pastoral arrangements.
  8. Experience delivering extracurricular activities suitable for SEMH learners.

Requirements

  1. Experience working as a qualified teacher.
  2. KS1 Primary teaching experience.
  3. QTS or QTLS trained.
  4. Experience teaching SEMH learners.
  5. Expert behaviour management and a range of techniques.
  6. Experience working with learners with a range of Educational Needs.
  7. Able to commit to working for a long period of time.
  8. Must have EHCP experience.
  9. Must have enhanced DBS.
