Your Role:

The Senior Coordinator supports students throughout their programs, from logistics to cultural integration, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience. Duties include administrative tasks such as programs management from development to review, managing seasonal residence life staff, and handling of escalated student welfare cases.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and lead initiatives designed to measurably improve the student experience.
  • Serve as a main point of contact for students, providing information and resources.
  • Provide a range of needs led interventions aimed at empowering students to manage a range of wellbeing, cultural, health related difficulties including the provision of advice or referral to specialist services.
  • Act as an escalation point for student concerns on health and safety and satisfaction issues.
  • Plan and execute program activities, including student excursions and local events.
  • Assist with student activities, arrivals, and guided tours to help students navigate their new environment.
  • Support housing maintenance and assist with student accommodations in collaboration with the Housing Coordinator.
  • Maintain records using Salesforce and contribute to improvement strategies.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with external vendors.
  • Line management of seasonal staff.
  • Be part of the emergency phone rotation for student support.
  • Collaborate with local staff and external partners to enhance program success.
  • Deputize for Director of Program and Student Services in their absence.

What Makes a Great Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience working with students, particularly international students.
  • Significant experience of providing wellbeing interventions to adults or young adults.
  • Staff supervisory experience.
  • Experience of housing coordination.
  • Ability to work with diverse identities.
  • Experience living or working abroad, with a knowledge of the local culture, history, business practices, and academic environment.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. higher education system.
  • Authorization to work in the location of the role.
