Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attending maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting faults
  • Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for fault updates

Ideal candidates are hands-on, multi-taskers, eager to learn, with experience or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
