The Role:

We have an excellent opportunity for domestic loss adjusters across the UK. Your role involves handling a portfolio of domestic losses, from visiting customers to finalising claims. With experience and qualifications, you may progress to handling claims up to £100k. Full training will be provided.

We consider candidates with no loss adjusting experience but with the right attributes. Our adjusters work a mix of site, home, and office-based roles, supporting work/life balance. You will engage with various specialists, requiring excellent communication and coordination skills, always keeping the customer informed.

While working independently, you will be part of a team with dedicated support. Systems training and support for remote working are available.

Required for this role:

• Effective communication skills for interacting with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to assess causes and extents of loss.
• Ability to handle complex property damage claims.
• Accuracy in assessing damages and determining compensation.
• Ability to manage multiple claims, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Empathy and excellent customer service skills.
• Negotiation skills for fair settlements.
• Willingness to work away from home during busy periods or as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.
• Adaptability to different situations for effective claim resolution.
• Understanding of insurance policies, claims processes, and property damage assessment, or basic knowledge of home insurance and construction.
