Job Description

Job Summary: Are you a recent college graduate seeking lab experience and career growth? Eurofins Small Molecule Method Development and Validation team is looking for an entry-level scientist to join their team! This individual will independently operate HPLC, GC, MS, Karl Fisher, AA, dissolution, and other analytical chemistry techniques to test small molecule drug products.

1. Operate instrumentation independently, including chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer (Coulometric and Volumetric), UV/Spec, wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, auto-titrators, TLC, and dissolution apparatus.
2. Prepare samples for analysis and run instrumentation with minimal supervision.
3. Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department.
4. Prepare standards and samples for analysis.
5. Execute method transfer protocols.
6. Document work in compliance with GMP standards.
7. Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. BS in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or related field.
2. Ability to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.

The ideal candidate would also possess:

1. Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
2. Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, follow instructions, and adhere to company policies.
3. Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.

Additional Information

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 am-4 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
