This exciting role is based in our in-house Softcat Studio. You will play a key role in bringing our brand's creative vision to life, supporting the creative needs of the business, and producing compelling videos that empower our sales teams to confidently go to market.

As a Videographer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with our Marketing teams to deliver creative outcomes based on briefs, from initial conversations and storyboards to final edited videos.
  • Managing the entire video creation process, including scripting, editing raw footage, and setting stage and lighting.
  • Producing videos for various initiatives, including talking heads, corporate videos, employee engagement, explainers, product scenarios, motion graphics, and more.
  • Handling multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and on-brand delivery.

We'd love you to have

  • Qualifications in multimedia or equivalent experience in a similar environment
  • A strong portfolio showcasing digital media and video work
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
  • Experience with various video formats, including long-form content, short videos, and social media clips
  • Experience in pre-production (location scouting, shot lists, storyboarding) and post-production (editing, audio mixing)
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with brand guidelines
  • Creative flair, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Interest in staying updated with trends and innovations in social media and digital platforms
