Job Description:

Actian is transforming how enterprises discover, understand, and govern their data assets through our innovative data catalog and intelligence platform. Our customers rely on us to provide a seamless and scalable experience, and we’re looking for a Technical Implementation Advisor to lead our customer technical onboarding and post-implementation success.

As a Technical Implementation Advisor, you will own the end-to-end technical implementation process, from onboarding to post-go-live optimization. This role is critical in ensuring customers successfully adopt Actian’s solutions while continuously refining their technical configuration to maximize value over time.

This is a customer-facing role, requiring technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong project management skills to ensure customers see long-term success with Actian solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Implementation & Onboarding
  2. Lead technical onboarding process for new Zeenea Data Intelligence Platform customers
  3. Develop and execute customer implementation plans ensuring smooth deployment and adoption
  4. Manage the technical setup, configuration, and deployment of Zeenea, ensuring seamless integration into customer environments
  5. Provide customer technical documentation, workflows, and best practices for metadata management and governance
  6. Proactively identify technical implementation risks and provide recommendations to mitigate issues before they arise

Post-Implementation Optimization:

  1. Support advanced technical integrations to extend platform capabilities
  2. Deliver ongoing technical insights to help customers improve efficiency, performance, and scalability
  3. Advise customers on complex metadata manipulation projects

Technical Customer Success:

  1. Partner with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities based on customer feedback
  2. Support customer presentations, providing technical insights that reinforce business impact
  3. Contribute to case studies showcasing innovative metadata implementations

Skills and Expertise:

  • 5+ years in technical implementation, consulting, professional services, or customer success in a SaaS, data management, or cloud-based environment
  • Excellent ability to translate customer needs into actionable technical requirements
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent implementation projects with enterprise customers
  • Knowledge of APIs & software development (Python, Java), data pipelines, and enterprise integration architectures
  • Proven success in enterprise software implementations, balancing technical execution with customer business needs
  • Experience leading technical enablement, training, or technical workshops
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Preferred:

  • Strong understanding of data catalogs, business glossaries, lineage tracking, and governance policies
  • Experience with metadata-driven architectures and data integration strategies across cloud and hybrid environments
  • Prior experience in a Technical Account Management (TAM) or Technical and/or Data Consulting role
