Structural Engineer
£38k-£45k
Beckenham BR3

Innovative Structural Design studio based in Beckenham is looking to grow their team and is seeking a mid-level Structural Engineer with several years of buildings design experience.

They are a dynamic, modern, and growing practice with a great order book of projects and a busy workload secured for the next 4 years. They work on various projects, ranging from commercial to bespoke residential, conservation work, sculptures, and huge multi-storey major projects of up to £250m in value with big-name clients and top architects. Rarely will you find a firm with such a diverse and full range of work, including large-scale projects.

They work in a variety of sectors and are a flexible, happy, and friendly team with several Chartered members.

They believe in a holistic approach to engineering and take corporate social responsibility seriously as well.

They are inclusive in their approach, holding weekly company meetings - a practice where everyone's input really counts. You must be passionate about buildings design and keen to be involved in all aspects of projects. You will gain exposure to all materials including CLT and lightweight steel.

The firm is flexible, offering 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and a health benefits cover scheme. You would be joining a happy and engaged team.

The practice is financially robust and now in a growth phase with longer-term plans to expand to around 30 staff, so opportunities for career development and having a real input into the direction of the business are very real.

Candidates must live within sensible commuting distance, and the office is easily accessible via tram or overground rail. Parking is also possible.
