Compensation: £27,601 / year

Description

As an Operative, you will process incoming waste materials via designated machinery to produce a recyclable product or dispose of waste properly. You will also ensure all site management duties are completed daily, adhering to Enva's rules, compliance standards, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain health and safety for yourself and colleagues at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and waste management licensing regulations.
  • Follow start-up and shut-down procedures for machinery and maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
  • Process waste and operate machinery following training and procedures.
  • Always wear the correct PPE.
  • Operate forklift trucks in accordance with training and procedures.
  • Perform general site maintenance.
  • Complete instructions, report near misses, and handle administrative paperwork.
  • Perform any other duties as required.
