Job description

As a Nursery Key Worker at The Gateshead Gan, you’ll play an essential role in shaping young minds by delivering exceptional learning experiences and creating a safe, nurturing environment. This is your chance to make a lasting impact on children’s lives and their development journey.

What You'll Do
  • Provide outstanding learning opportunities and care tailored to each child.
  • Plan, lead, and supervise engaging activities.
  • Safeguard children's health, safety, and welfare.
  • Make meaningful assessments to track each child's developmental progress.
  • Build strong relationships with parents/carers, keeping them informed and engaged.
  • Stay attentive to children's interests and individual needs, reflected in activity plans.
What We're Looking For
  • Passion for early years education: A desire to help children thrive.
  • Qualifications:
    • Level 2 (or higher) Early Years qualification preferred but not essential.
    • If unqualified, previous childcare experience is required with a drive to build your career in Early Years.
  • Skills and experience: Energetic, motivated, and committed to helping children reach their potential.
