A specialist London-based Property and Construction Consultancy, located in Kensington, is seeking a driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is passionate about their APC journey and eager to take on greater responsibilities.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, gaining exposure to a wide variety of projects, including cladding remediation, retrofit, estate regeneration, rooftop developments, and traditional building works, with values reaching up to £50m.

You’ll be responsible for key pre- and post-contract duties, including cost planning, valuations, cost control, and reporting, playing a hands-on role in delivering high-profile schemes.

This consultancy fosters a collaborative and innovative environment, with a team of 25 professionals ranging from junior to chartered senior surveyors. With a flat structure that encourages fresh ideas and career progression, there is a clear pathway to senior roles, including Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Director positions.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor

The incoming Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have:

• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree (or RICS accredited/construction related course)
• Minimum of 12 months Quantity Surveying experience
• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a PQS / Consultancy practice
• Basic pre (and ideally post) contract knowledge
• Articulate, professional, career focused
