Job description

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Endoscopy Manager to work in an exceptional independent private hospital next to Central London. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers.

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

As the Endoscopy Manager your key responsibilities include:

  1. Assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating a high level of Endoscopy patient care.
  2. Leading the team in the role of team lead to ensure adherence to the 5 steps to safe interventional procedures and the safe and efficient running of the list.
  3. Exhibiting a high level of teamwork with the wider hospital environment.
  4. Participating fully as a team member, including working in areas such as stage 1 & 2 recovery to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives.
  5. Effective management of resources within the department.
  6. Participating in education, training, and development of other staff.
  7. Helping to prevent cross infection by observing departmental policy regarding dress, the maintenance of a clean working environment, decontamination and sterilisation procedures, and a high level of decontamination practice.

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  1. Minimum 3 years’ experience within the role of Endoscopy Nurse.
  2. Endoscopy competence within a range of procedures.
  3. Competence in delivering a high level of Endoscopy care.
  4. Good computer and numeracy skills.
  5. Flexibility in response to needs of the department.
  6. Ability to deliver a high level of customer service to patients and Consultants.
  7. Good teamwork skills.

The successful Endoscopy Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £50,078 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
