Marketing and Communications for Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB)

Position Overview: The Marketing & Communications Manager will lead communication and marketing efforts for the UK market, based in London. This role reports to the Head of Marketing in Madrid and collaborates with the Head of Talent and Culture CIB UK in London. You will be part of a global team, working closely with local stakeholders and MAR&COM teams in Spain and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute marketing and communication deliverables to enhance the BBVA CIB brand, increase awareness, and generate business opportunities aligned with CIB goals.
- Identify and leverage marketing and communication opportunities with third parties to promote the BBVA brand.
- Maintain media relations, interact with journalists, and manage media relations effectively.
- Deliver KPI reports to monitor performance, analyze trends, and ensure goals are met.
- Co-develop communication strategies with local and global teams to increase brand awareness in the UK.
- Coordinate online and offline communication activities, including content creation, press releases, and publications.
- Support spokespersons and manage media interactions.
- Create and manage content for the company's website and social media channels in collaboration with global teams.
- Manage the local communication budget.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute marketing initiatives.
- Assist in organizing client events and managing third-party sponsorships.
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Experience in the financial industry, preferably in CIB markets.
- Proven experience managing corporate and client events.
- Knowledge of social media, influencer marketing, SEO, content, email, and media strategies.
- Experience working with external agencies and providers.
- Ability to develop brand strategies using owned and earned media to achieve business results.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with Google Workspace is highly recommended.

- Fluent in English and Spanish.
