East Lothian Council is seeking passionate PE teachers for St. Gabriel's RC Primary School and Cockenzie Primary School. These permanent positions require relevant primary qualifications and GTCS registration, with a focus on enhancing student participation in physical education. The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week). Part-time hours will be pro-rated accordingly.
Post 1 - St. Gabriel's RC Primary School, 17.11 hours per week.
Days and Hours of Work:
Working 2 days per week between Monday - Thursday, specific working times to be confirmed.
Start date: 11th August 2025.
We are seeking a candidate to provide PE provision at St Gabriel's RC Primary School. Enthusiasm for PE and encouraging participation are essential. We have been developing a whole-school approach to play pedagogy and outdoor learning, and welcome candidates interested in supporting and enhancing this work within our school community.

Post 2 - Cockenzie Primary School, 16.85 hours per week.

We are looking for an excellent teacher to provide PE at Cockenzie Primary School, which has approximately 420 children in nursery and primary classes. PVG Membership:
