Your Role: Learning & Development Partner
We want every Globaller to have the chance to develop their skills and potential and enjoy a rewarding career at Global. Working closely with the Head of Talent Development and the wider team, this role will design and deliver creative and innovative talent development initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, plan, promote and deliver our PowerSkills training offer for all Globallers.
Coordinate annual training plan, based on learning needs and demand.
Design and deliver internally-led, in-person sessions.
Design and implement bespoke digital learning courses.
Source and manage external training providers.
Design and deliver development solutions across the business, based on needs identified by Head of Talent Development and Talent Development Partner.
Deliver TD content for central & functional induction schemes to include training as well as any supporting content (e.g., guides).
Onboard new apprentices and create Global placement/Insights days.
Work with Head of TD to design and deliver an induction programme for new apprentices.
Create a framework for Global insights days for entry-level talent.
Manage our process around work placements.

Successfully onboarded new apprentices, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and set up for success.
Facilitated engaging ‘PowerSkills’ sessions, receiving positive feedback from Globallers and demonstrating clear learning outcomes.
Partnered with stakeholders to understand learning needs and started shaping development initiatives that align with business priorities.
What You’ll Need
A strong understanding of the full learning cycle to include identifying needs, recommending creative and innovative solutions that meet the business need, implementing the solution to a high standard, and evaluating the return on investment.
A passion for developing people, championing a learning culture within Global and always thinking with a continuous learning mindset.
Exceptional training design skills, virtual and trainer-led, to include:
Ability to research topics and current trends around that subject matter.
Ability to ensure all content is business-relevant, aligns with our purpose and values, and reflects the tone and style of the business.
Exceptional facilitation skills, to include:
Ability to present complex information in a clear, compelling, and simple way.
Delivering content in an engaging way that supports the learners.
Public speaking skills such as pace, projection, eye contact, inclusive language, etc.
Ability to adapt to a diverse audience and ‘work the room’ whether face to face or virtual.
Active listening and effective questioning techniques to ensure all learners are engaged and making the most of the content.
Critical-thinking and commercial-awareness skills; using analysis and evaluation to propose a development intervention that meets the needs of the business and has a strong return on investment for the Globaller and for the business.
Relationship management skills: able to build effective relationships quickly with your key stakeholders, gain buy-in, maintain an active network, influence others and be a trusted partner.
