Role Overview

I am recruiting an engaging and flexible Cover Supervisor to oversee classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, supporting the progress of learning.

This is a mainstream secondary school where the successful candidate will supervise classrooms solo, mainly supervising years 7-11 lessons.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage classroom behaviour, ensuring students stay on task with their work.
• Be confident with a strong classroom presence.
• Apply academic knowledge and think on your feet.
• Supervise whole classes independently.
• Use initiative to give instructions that support teaching and learning during lessons.

Pay rate depends on experience and qualifications.

All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later.
