Job description

Construction Project Manager, South Hams, Devon

Salary: £65k-£70k plus car/allowance and company benefits

Role: Project Manager required for a regional main contractor to work on a new £12m new build 100 room hotel in the heart of the South Hams, South Devon. The project manager will oversee the project from site set-up through to final handover to client. The Project Manager will be responsible for the site team making sure the scheme is delivered safely, to budget, and on time. With a Site Manager working as their no2 on site and reporting into a visiting Ops Director.

Core Project Manager duties within the role will include:

  • No.1 on similar size schemes
  • Leading and resourcing site based teams through strong leadership
  • Meeting Health & Safety regulations
  • Holding regular team meetings across all supply chain partners
  • Maintaining financial performance of each project with overall responsibility for all site based work

What do you need?

  • Degree / HNC – Construction Related Discipline or trade background
  • Minimum NVQ Level 6 in Site Management
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
  • CSCS Card
  • Substantial experience as a No.1 on a similar sized project
  • New build hotel experience an advantage
  • Commercially astute
