The Programme: Our Wernick Hire Graduate Training Programme offers an exceptional opportunity to gain comprehensive insight into the dynamic world of modular and portable buildings. As a Graduate Management Trainee, you will be trained across all business areas, gaining hands-on experience in our depots, field sales, drawing office, factory, estimating departments, and more. This is the perfect chance to fast-track your career in a thriving, market-leading company.

The Programme can start at any time of year.

Please note, can be based at any of the following locations: Avonmouth, Cheltenham, Neath, Plymouth, Cornwall or Devizes

About The Role

What to Expect:

Learn all aspects of the hire desk at one of our larger depots.

Shadow a Depot Manager and work with our senior leadership team.

Develop your sales skills and meet key customers.

Wernick Buildings (6 Months):

Experience factory life at our Neath, South Wales location.

Rotate through departments: shop floor, scheduling, technical, and sales/estimating.

Receive mentorship from the Managing Director.

Wernick Construction (3 Months):

Work alongside a Contracts Manager or Site Supervisor at one of our divisional sales offices.

Gain exposure to on-site project management and supervision.

Additional Opportunities:

You may also gain experience in our other Group companies to broaden your knowledge.

Upon completion, you’ll be placed in one of the six Wernick Group companies to continue your career at a management level.

What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking graduates who are driven, confident, and eager to succeed. You should have excellent communication skills, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for leadership.

Ideally, you’ll have a 2:2 degree in any subject and some relevant work experience, although Business Management is preferred.

A full UK driving licence is required as the programme involves regular travel, and some geographical flexibility is necessary.

Geographical flexibility is necessary for the entirety of the Programme, and for the role following completion as you could be permanently placed at any of our depots across the UK.

A full UK Driving Licence will be required as regular travel will be involved.
