I am a 10-year-old young man who lives at home with my family in Bedlington. I am looking for somebody to help me have some time away from my family enjoying activities both at home and in the community. I am autistic with ADHD and Chromosome Deletion, so I need a little bit more help than other boys my age.
I need a support worker who is:
I do need help, on occasion, with toileting and it is very important you are happy to help me with this during our time together. My mum will help you understand what support I need.
I love:
I don't like to visit anywhere too loud or busy; sports and crafts are not things I enjoy. I need somebody who can adapt to my responses to scenarios e.g. I’m not keen on losing when playing, so being able to help me with this would be a huge advantage.

Car driver required and must have insurance for business use. The successful candidate will require an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure (DBS), cost to be met by employer.
The successful applicant will have access to Northumberland County Council’s learning together platform. Training will be via online self-led sessions, on the job, and face to face as appropriate.
