Job summary
We are looking to recruit a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team as part of the wider Community Adult Health Service, serving the Hertsmere locality in Hertfordshire.
The position offers experience with a mixed caseload, including amputees, neurological/stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson's disease, falls/balance impairments, orthopaedics, long-term conditions, and palliative/end-of-life care. The goal is to rehabilitate and maximize patients' potential, supporting activities that promote independent living at home.
Successful applicants will be part of an enthusiastic, patient-focused, holistic team treating patients in their homes. Our multidisciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Healthcare and therapy assistants, and administrative support.
We collaborate with GPs, hospitals, social care, hospices, and third-sector organizations.
It is essential that you have a full UK driving license and access to your own car to travel within the Hertfordshire area.

Salary: £39,205 to £47,084 per year (including HCAS, pro-rata for part-time)

You will manage your own caseload under supervision, with regular support from the therapy lead. You will supervise junior team members and may have opportunities to educate students.
