Job Description:

As a Dispensing Store Manager, you will use your leadership experience and passion to help your retail and pharmacy business grow and improve.

About the role

Working onsite, you will report to the Area Manager and lead from the front by being a visible and accessible part of your team. You will also:

  1. Work with your retail and pharmacy teams to achieve the business goals for your store, keeping our customers at the heart of what we do.
  2. Deliver a sustainable and efficient retail and pharmacy operating platform in your store to ensure stock availability, control costs, minimize loss, and meet our customers’ expectations.
  3. Keep up to date with new priorities across the business, including Pharmacy services, New Product Development launches, and more.
  4. Interpret data, trends, and insights to work quickly and respond to the changing needs of the customer.
  5. Be responsible for the performance and development of your team, delivering this through regular coaching and reviews.
  6. Conduct regular reviews, audits, and risk assessments to protect patient and public safety.
What you’ll need to have

These are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role.

  1. Experience leading a team in a retail environment.
  2. An NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services that is valid in the UK.
  3. A Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent.
