Salary range: £58,972 per annum
Work location: Countywide with office base at: Union Street, Oxford, OX4 1JP
You will be required to work countywide attending to needs.
Hours per week: 37 - we will also consider 30 hours per week

You will be joining our highly regarded multi-disciplinary Clinical Team led by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. We adopt a creative, dynamic, and evidence-based approach, drawing on trauma-informed, developmental, and systemic models. The team supports each other through regular meetings, supervision, and monthly reflective practice facilitated by Arlene Vetere, a highly regarded Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Family Therapist. We support professional development with allocated funding for CPD and collaborate with Oxford University’s clinical psychology doctoral training, providing opportunities for research and innovation.
Join our Community Family Clinic initiative within a vibrant, innovative team including Clinical Psychologists, a Counselling Psychologist, Family Therapists, a Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychological Family Practitioners, an Occupational Therapist, and outdoor specialists. You will work with children, young people, and families across Oxfordshire, supporting families in crisis, developing innovative interventions, and contributing to research and practice development. The team has a strong culture of support, with outdoor therapeutic activities and systemic supervision, and offers excellent employment conditions, including salary and pension benefits.
You will work closely with the Clinical Psychology Doctoral training at Oxford University, supervising trainees and engaging in research. In this role, you will lead clinical input within the Family Solutions Service, supporting vulnerable children and families, and managing a team within a locality, supported by other senior psychologists. Our primary goal is to support family stability and well-being.
This role offers extensive opportunities to develop clinical skills with diverse needs, including working with families, children, and young people. You will apply and develop interventions based on models like systemic thinking, Video Interaction Guidance, MBT, trauma-informed approaches, and CBT. You will also have the chance to lead practice innovation and contribute to research publications.
