Senior Environmental Advisor Warwickshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, the Environmental and Sustainability Specialist (Senior Environmental Advisor) will play a key role in implementing Telent's Sustainability Strategy and supporting Business Units to meet waste and carbon reduction objectives, customer expectations, ISO14001, and legal requirements across our Rail and Asset Management divisions. This is an agile role with up to 50% UK-wide travel.

What you’ll do:

• Provide specialist guidance and advice to EHS teams and Project leads on environment and sustainability to meet requirements.
• Support risk management with environmental assurance regimes and audit programs.
• Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids.
• Develop and maintain performance data and carbon management reports.
• Review key environmental aspects and impacts, including climate change risks.
• Support project teams to embed sustainable practices throughout the Project Life Cycle.

Who you are:

You will have experience in a similar role in industries such as Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, or Construction.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification - PIEMA
• ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor
• Experience in providing environmental and sustainability advice.
• Experience reducing environmental impacts of equipment and infrastructure.
• Managing complex technical and change projects.
• Full driving license and flexibility for UK-wide travel.
