What you will do:

Responsible for the strategy and development of renewable energy projects (mainly wind, solar, and battery projects) from early stage to construction, in accordance with company guidelines and the business plan.

You will coordinate the project development team in the UK.

What are we looking for:
  • Master's degree in Energy, Engineering, Environmental, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 10-15 years of experience in developing solar and/or wind projects in the UK.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Deep understanding of renewable energy technologies, particularly in onshore wind, solar PV, and battery storage.
  • Knowledge of the planning process and development risks.
  • Knowledge of grid connection processes and technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to manage legal agreements such as land leases, planning agreements, and joint ventures.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholders.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills for engaging with government agencies, stakeholders, and investors.
  • Strong business-oriented mindset.
  • Strategic thinking to drive business growth and pipeline development.
  • Autonomy in decision-making and problem-solving.
