Overview

We are seeking a Freelance Italian Pharmacoepidemiologist with expertise in real-world evidence (RWE) and epidemiology to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing, interpreting, and communicating epidemiological data related to pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities

  1. Conducting pharmacoepidemiological studies to assess the safety and effectiveness of pharmaceutical products
  2. Designing and implementing observational studies and analysis plans
  3. Analysing and interpreting real-world data to inform drug safety and risk management strategies
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide epidemiological expertise and support decision-making
  5. Generating and presenting epidemiological research findings to both internal and external stakeholders
  6. Contributing to the development of pharmacovigilance strategies and risk management plans

Qualifications

  1. Advanced degree in epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, or a related field
  2. Proven experience in applying epidemiological methods to pharmaceutical research
  3. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, or STATA)
  4. Strong understanding of real-world evidence (RWE) and observational research methodologies
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment
