Senior Civil Structural Engineer

Contract Role - 7 Months

Up to £65 p/h

Hybrid - 2-3 days a week in Devonport or the Bristol office.

are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join a world-leading nuclear defense client based out of Devonport dockyard.

Job Overview:

This is a major engineering initiative focused on upgrading a Defence facility in Plymouth, UK, designed to support the Vanguard and future Dreadnought Class submarines. The project has a 10-year timeline and is valued at £1 billion, representing a significant infrastructure development for the UK's Defence sector.

Responsibilities include:

1. Within SQEP profile, preparing and/or checking designs, analyses, reports, drawings, specifications, and other documents in support of Nuclear and Non-Nuclear related plant, facility, and equipment within the company's licensed, authorised, and operational sites, or in support of external contracts.
2. Participate in problem solving for the development of technical solutions to deficiencies or in the development of new designs.
3. Support the review and sentencing of new designs, methodologies, etc.
