Job Description

We are hiring a Catering Manager at Darite Primary School, Darite - Liskeard, who is committed to providing nutritionally balanced and tasty food for future generations. This role is term-time only and involves no weekends, offering great flexibility.

The Role
  • £13.35 per hour
  • 22.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
  • Term-time only – 39 weeks per year
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation
  • Enhancing the company's reputation for excellent food and service, exceeding client and customer expectations
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the location, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the client at your school, recommending and implementing improvements
  • Communicating regularly with line managers to monitor KPIs and financial targets
  • Supporting and training team members, ensuring all training is completed, and managing performance
