Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attend planned and remedial maintenance tasks
  • Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
  • Utilize IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates

Candidate profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multitask and are eager to learn. Experience in similar roles or knowledge of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
