Job Description:

Water Compliance Services Ltd (WCS) is seeking an experienced service engineer to join our team to manage and develop our growing work commitments from our loyal customer base.

Full training will be provided for the right candidate who has enthusiasm and commitment to grow with our company.

The role is varied and covers all aspects of water compliance tasks, including Legionella control, water treatment, and water regulation compliance works. Responsibilities include:

  • Cold water storage tank cleaning and disinfections
  • Pipework alterations and pre-commission disinfections in new and existing buildings
  • Disinfection of newly installed mains water
  • Flushing and treatment of closed heating and chilled water systems to BSRIA BG29 standards
  • Closed system analysis using in-house test kits
  • Water sampling for Legionella, bacteria, and closed systems
  • Thermostatic mixer valve servicing
  • Cleaning, descaling, and disinfecting domestic and emergency showers and eye washes
  • Remedial plumbing works, including removal of deadleg pipework and plumbing alterations
  • Assisting with Legionella monitoring visits
  • Cooling tower cleaning and disinfection
  • Cooling tower water treatment analysis

Our work is primarily based in Yorkshire, but we serve customers nationwide. Occasional travel and weekend work may be required, with prior notice. Working away from home is minimal, averaging 1-2 days per month or less.
