JOB PURPOSE

Department/Business/Location: Workshop

Reports to: Workshop Controller and Aftersales Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
  • Where instructed, use diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to diagnose and rectify vehicle faults.
  • Ensure full understanding of the latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and undertake training to diagnose and repair faults on them.
  • Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices for self and others.
  • Adhere to manufacturer and dealer quality standards.
  • Liaise and seek advice from colleagues and supervisors where necessary to meet deadlines and repair and quality standards.
  • Complete relevant service documentation (electronic job sheets, PDI’s, service reports) in line with brand standards, warranty, and site requirements.
  • Complete high-quality vehicle health checks and videos in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that workshop health & safety and housekeeping standards are always maintained, including the use of special and personal tools.
  • Continue your professional development through manufacturer training pathways, including Hybrid and BEV technologies.
Skills & Requirements
