Job Description:

The EV Compliance Manager (also known internally as the Lead Ethics & Compliance Liaison (ECL) bp Pulse Global) is a hybrid role responsible for driving the strategic direction of the bp Pulse global E&C programme and managing all UK EV regulatory compliance matters. You will be a member of the Extended Leadership Team and act as a trusted business advisor to embed ethics and compliance across bp Pulse operations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. UK EV Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the primary contact for UK EV regulations, collaborating with authorities like the Office for Product Safety and Standards to ensure compliance. Prepare and submit necessary documentation, working closely with the bp Pulse HSSE team.
  2. Global ECL Leadership: Manage all global bp Pulse ethics and compliance inquiries, advice, and assurance. Lead the ECL network, promote bp's code and culture, participate in investigations, and coordinate governance meetings.
  3. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and monitor E&C risks, including EV regulatory compliance. Develop and implement an ethics and compliance plan, lead risk assessments, and support risk management processes.
  4. Communications & Knowledge Sharing: Support E&C training, incorporate risk communications into global plans, share best practices, and support lobbying activities. Lead the E&C strategy in partnership with regional managers and serve as the 'face of E&C' in the business.
  5. Experience & Skills: Significant experience in business, risk advisory, or E&C roles, preferably in startups or high-risk regions. Proven leadership, strategic project delivery, and partnership skills. Fluency in English required; proficiency in German preferred.

  • Candidate 1: Friday 16th May 10am -11.30am
  • Candidate 2: Friday 16th May 12.30pm-2pm
  • Candidate 3: Monday 19th May 9am -10.30am
  • Candidate 4: Monday 19th May 11am-12.30pm

2nd stage:

  • Candidate 1: Tuesday 20th May 11am -11.30am
  • Candidate 2: Tuesday 20th May 11:30am -12pm
