Position Details
  • Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours)
  • Salary: £38,000 (DOE)
About the Role

Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking a Nursery Manager based at our St Albans Fitness and Wellbeing Centre within our Nuffield Health gym.

This is a fantastic opportunity to manage one of the Nuffy Bear nurseries within the UK's largest Healthcare Charity. We are Ofsted registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). If you are passionate about children's wellbeing, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact and enjoy rewarding experiences.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified with NNEB, NVQ Level 3/4, BTEC, BA Hons, or equivalent
  • Experience in team management
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication skills with parents, carers, and external professionals
Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure high-quality care and education in the nursery
  2. Champion the health, growth, and development of each child
  3. Follow the EYFS framework
  4. Oversee planning, activities, and assessments, ensuring compliance with childcare legislation
  5. Hold responsibility for SEN and Safeguarding
  6. Identify opportunities for growth and achieve revenue targets
