Qualifications

  • Ability to pass and hold National Security Clearance Vetting.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Verifiable five-year work history.

  • Enable access to the site and related developments.
  • Front of House Reception duties - deliver customer excellence.
  • Issue and receive Site Access Control passes to HPC workers and visitors.
  • Operate and oversee various IT systems including Visitor Management and Access Control Systems.
  • Perform administration duties and support the Access Control Lead and Supervisor.

Access Control Officer - Hinkley Point C

Type of Job: Permanent

Working on our prestigious Hinkley Point C contract, our uniformed Access Control Officers are key members of the security team. They are tasked with enabling access for the thousands of workers employed across the HPC project by controlling, issuing, and receiving access control passes.

Their primary responsibilities include delivering front-of-house reception, administration, and customer service duties to support the project and facilitate access for site pass holders and visitors to the main HPC site.

This role is mainly administrative, customer-facing, involving reception duties and operation of security and visitor management IT systems.

Location: Bridgwater

Hours: 40 per week, Mon-Fri

Pay rate: £ per hour

Your Time at Work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable access to the site and related developments
  • Front of House Reception duties - deliver customer excellence
  • Issue and receive Site Access Control passes to HPC workers and visitors
  • Operate and oversee various IT systems including Visitor Management and Access Control Systems
  • Operate identification systems to enable access
  • Assist contractors at HPC with access enquiries
  • Perform administration duties and support the Access Control Lead and Supervisor
  • Support car park operations
  • Monitor and meet service level KPIs
  • Perform general office duties as required
