Mace is seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator PM to join our team in Plymouth, working on an upgrade programme within a nuclear licensed site. The key responsibilities include planning, directing, managing, and overseeing the implementation of temporary works in line with BS5975, ensuring project goals are met within schedule, budget, and safety standards. Effective communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders is essential.

You will work with the Senior Construction Delivery Team, providing guidance and building relationships with stakeholders, clients, and the project team. Your role includes delivering project packages, supporting temporary works, managing risks, and ensuring project delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters.

You will interface with subcontractors, resolve technical issues, and support bid preparations. Additionally, you will assist other project managers as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong time management, organizational, influencing, and people management skills
  • Experience in a regulated industry, with CSCS certification
  • Preferably with nuclear and defence experience
  • Degree in engineering or project management, with relevant professional membership
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts and CITB qualification in temporary works coordination
  • Digitally savvy, capable of building client relationships and leading teams

Additional preferred experience includes construction delivery in nuclear/defence sectors, membership of professional bodies (MCIOB/MAPM/MRICS/MICE), and knowledge of sustainability considerations.
