What you'll do

As part of the team, you will work alongside a group of analysts to implement analytical solutions in a demanding and fast paced commercial environment. With an intuitive grasp of data and analytics, you will be passionate about driving innovative analytical thinking and proving the benefits of a data driven approach.

By using sophisticated analytics and insight, you will be helping business partners understand not only what customers do, but helping understand why customers do what they do. This work is essential in enabling areas to make informed, accurate and timely decisions from the targeted information you help supply them.

  • Work closely with partners to fully understand requirements and provide collaborative solutions based on a commercial and analytical understanding.
  • Contribute to delivering the team's objectives and strategy and help shape the future direction.
  • Communicating data analysis and insights via presentations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Provide analytical expertise to support the delivery of data and digital products, working closely with the CRM team, Product Managers and Data Scientists.
  • Support and encourage experimental approaches to technological and analytical challenges.
  • Champion an agile way of working, promoting a test and learn' approach and culture.
  • Act as a data and analytical consultant to help identify opportunity, drive understanding or solutions across the business.
  • Collaborate with the other analysts in the team to build a thriving analytics environment where knowledge and ideas are shared.

Who you are

  • Exceptional problem solving, analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good knowledge of SQL across big data tables and experience visualising data and presenting analytics.
  • Ability to translate technical data to be easily understood by non-technical colleagues.
  • Knowledge of manipulating and redefining data sets and applying analytical methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the business partners to understand their needs and interpret how they could be fulfilled using the available data.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (e.g. MS Excel, Power Query/Pivot/Point).
  • Passion and desire to learn new tools and techniques.
  • Experience working in a fast paced and effective Analytics or Insight functions.
