Unit Catering Manager

Location: Hargrave House, Stansted

Salary: up to 40,000

Hours: Full Time, 5 days over 7

About the Role

As Unit Catering Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our catering operation, leading a team to deliver high-quality meals while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily food preparation and service, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
• Lead, motivate, and develop a catering team to deliver excellent customer experiences
• Manage budgets, stock control, and ordering to ensure cost-effective operations
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
• Drive customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and responding to feedback
• Work collaboratively with suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders to enhance the catering service

About You

Proven experience in a catering management role, ideally in education, healthcare, corporate, retail, or hospitality. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (Level 2 or 3 Food Safety Certificate desirable). Excellent organisational and financial management skills. A passion for great food, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
