Business & Systems Analysts packages from £30k to £60k + benefits

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years' experience of business / systems analysis, design or development in a structured software development environment. They will be bright and enthusiastic with a good degree from a UK university and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The applicant will be expected to learn quickly about processes and systems in the UK energy industry and so prior industry knowledge is an advantage.

The role will involve some travel to existing clients in Ipswich as well as to other locations throughout the UK.

Key Skills/knowledge Required

• 2+ years' solid experience working in a structured software development environment
• Ability to translate business requirements into workable system designs
• Good understanding of data structures and software interface design
• Excellent communication skills
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Experience of the UK electricity and/or gas industry
• A high level of competency with MS Office applications
• Business process modelling experience using case tools and/or UML
• Experience of any of the following would also be of benefit:
• Change and configuration management
• The principles of workflow-based systems
