The Role

A key supplier across the rail industry delivering innovative technology solutions and services to owners and operators of the UK rail network is looking to hire an HSQE Coordinator. This role involves driving best practices across the workforce, coordinating all HSEQ documentation to ensure the company remains compliant and well-organized.

Responsibilities of the HSQE Coordinator include:
  1. Checking and editing documents for accuracy and compliance.
  2. Controlling the flow of documents internally and externally.
  3. Coordinating accident records, including investigation and reporting of accidents and near misses.
  4. Assisting in the preparation of HSQE action plans.
  5. Providing clerical and administrative support to the HSQE team.
  6. Maintaining, reviewing, and improving HSQE management systems.
  7. Ensuring the secure destruction and disposal of sensitive documents.
  8. Participating in incident investigations to identify root causes.
Candidate requirements:
  • A strong administrative or document control background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience working in the rail or construction industries.
  • Experience in an administrative role within an HSQE environment is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt and engage effectively.
Desirable but not essential:
  • A NEBOSH Certificate or working towards one.
