Job Description:

Our client is an innovative and developing Swiss-headquartered commercial-stage pharmaceutical company. They are seeking a Legal and Compliance Counsel to lead for the UK, Nordics, and Canada based in London.

Reporting to the Head of Legal for EUCAN, and working closely with the small country management teams, the role will be responsible for all legal and compliance issues for the region. Specifically, the post holder will oversee and lead on all commercial contracting, collaborations, market access, ABPI matters including compliance training and monitoring, as well as digital and data privacy concerns.

Ideally, you will be an experienced life sciences lawyer with at least 5-10 years of experience from both private practice and a similar in-house role within a pharmaceutical or biotech organization (medical technology experience may also be considered). You should have experience in commercial legal matters and healthcare compliance programs. Additionally, you need to be a commercially minded, proactive team player who can operate effectively at all levels in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced organization.

The role will be based in London and will operate a hybrid working model.
