Job description

Working Hours:

There are 3 shifts available with standard hours of 37 hours per week. The shift pattern is 4 days on and 4 days off, rotating between days and nights.

Salary:

The starting salary is £24,790 (Level one), increasing to £25,584 (Level 3) per annum. Salaries are pro-rata for part-time roles.

Location:

Based at The Woodlands Control Centre, operating city-wide.

About the Role:

Join Nottingham City Council as a Mobile Patrol Officer to help ensure the safety and security of our assets. Your role will involve preventing anti-social behaviour, vandalism, theft, and property damage, especially during out-of-hours or when properties are vacant. You will respond promptly to alarms and issues, taking appropriate action to maintain peace of mind for our clients.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid front-line SIA Licence or a current certificate of completion of SIA front-line training.
  • Previous security knowledge (training for response duties will be provided).
  • A full driving licence.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and stay motivated during long hours.
