Audit Manager - Quantitative, Actuarial & AI Models

Hybrid working Full-time | Flexible working supportedWe're partnering with a major UK financial services group on a brilliant opportunity within their Internal Audit team. They're on the lookout for an experienced actuary or quant to join their Model Audit function - think deep dive assurance work across credit risk, insurance models, capital, pricing, AI/ML and more.This is a genuinely exciting team to be part of - a great blend of technical depth and strategic impact, where you'll be working on high-profile model risk areas that influence decision-making at the highest level.

What you'll be doing:

Leading and delivering model audit reviews across both the insurance and banking businesses.Providing insight on model governance, controls and risks across the full model lifecycle.Working with a broad range of stakeholders - from modellers to senior risk leaders.Bringing fresh ideas to how audit gets done - process improvements, new tools, external insights.Coaching and supporting others in the team - they've got a strong collaborative culture.

What they're looking for:

Qualified Actuary (FIA/FFA) or highly numerate (STEM) background with model risk / audit experience.Hands-on experience in actuarial or risk modelling - capital, pricing, stress testing, or similar.Able to manage audits from planning to reporting - and engage with stakeholders at all levels.Knowledge of modelling regulations (Solvency UK, Basel, CRD IV etc) a bonus.Python or AI/ML exposure?
