Exciting Opportunity for an EYFS (Nursery) Teacher in Stevenage!


Location: SG2, Stevenage
Position: EYFS (Nursery) Teacher
Start Date: April 2025 (Easter half term)
Contract: Full-time, Temp to Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS, Fringe


The Role: As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and exciting learning experiences for our children. You will create a fun, safe, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration, growth, and learning. You'll work closely with children, families, and the wider team to ensure every child's needs are met and their potential is nurtured.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver innovative, child-focused lessons that align with the EYFS curriculum.
  2. Support the development of children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
  3. Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where all children feel safe, valued, and inspired.
  4. Assess and track children's progress, providing constructive feedback and setting developmental goals.
  5. Foster positive relationships with parents and families, keeping them informed and involved in their child's learning journey.
  6. Collaborate with a passionate team of educators to share best practices and create a cohesive learning environment.
  7. Maintain a high standard of care and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children.

What We're Looking For:
  1. A qualified EYFS teacher with a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
  2. A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and a passion for early childhood education.
  3. The ability to create exciting and engaging learning activities tailored to individual children's needs.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  5. A creative and proactive approach to teaching, with a focus on fostering curiosity and independent thinking.
  6. Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, supportive team environment.
