Please note that the remit of the role is covering the whole of the North West area.

Role Overview:

Install gas heating systems in our clients properties, including combi swaps, conversions and full heating systems ensuring full compliance each time and carry out wet fitting jobs such as radiator swaps, pipe runs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out heating system installations to a high standard
  • Completing day to day wet fitting jobs, installing radiators, repairing leaks on pipeworks, and installing new gas runs
  • Moving and replacing boiler flue’s, general installation works
  • Tracing and repair gas leaks under floors
  • Diagnose and repair faults in gas systems and appliances, addressing issues promptly to maintain safety and functionality
  • Risk assess work/working environments before starting any works to avoid damages or injuries, and undertake all work in accordance with Health & Safety and The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998
  • Communicate effectively with residents, providing clear explanations of work to be undertaken and ensuring minimal disruption during service delivery
  • Deliver high levels of customer care dealing with clients and tenants meeting the required quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including job sheets, service/installation reports, and compliance certificates.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work

Skills & Experience

    • Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
    • Valid UK driving licence (essential)
    • Previous practical experience in gas system/plumbing installations and wet fitting
    • Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
    • A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants

Please note: The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check prior to commencing employment with us.
