Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting a Bank Cleaner for our Retirement Communities Service at St Bartholomew's Court, Rye.

The role of Bank Cleaner, internally referred to as General Assistant - Cleaning, includes:

  1. Maintaining cleanliness of communal areas, offices, and kitchens to high standards.
  2. Identifying and reporting faults and hazards to ensure safety.
  3. Managing stock levels and equipment usage according to guidelines.
  4. Assisting in meal and drink preparation, adhering to food hygiene standards.
  5. Respecting residents' privacy and dignity.

Skills and experience required:

  1. Experience in general cleaning duties preferred.
  2. Experience in domestic or catering environments is desirable.
  3. Level 2 diploma in housekeeping/catering or willingness to work towards it.
  4. Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  5. Understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
